here on campus we do a lot of lifestyle shoots and portraits for different departments to be used in recruitment material, signs, banners, brochures, etc.
Great shots, as always. 1 question. The 3 medium shots of the people wearing suits with the green backgrounds. Why are they facing the edge of the frame. Generally the negative space would be in front of them not behind them. Having the negative space behind them is a style used in horror or suspense movies to insinuate that something is behind them. Just curious.
Cliff good question. The negative space was left there for designers to put quotes of the individuals. As to the purpose in their posing, I just take a variety of images and poses and let them choose which one they want. For whatever reason, I personally just liked these ones best.
