UVU Sports

One thing I have loved about working at UVU is shooting sports. Other than a small portion of a class I had at school, I had never photographed sporting events, but now I am shooting it for marketing. I am glad I have a great teacher and supervisor with a lot of sport shooting under his belt. So far I have only been here for a little over 7 months so I have only been able to participate in half of the sporting season. I am learning a lot and have a lot to learn.

UVU Mens Soccer

the only NCAA D-1 mens soccer team in the state of utah is about to play their first game this coming saturday. there was a huge team of people working on their marketing campaign, of which i was blessed to be a very small part of. i have loved working here at UVU as the photography manager for marketing and working with August Miller (my direct supervisor and a great photographer who has been teaching me a lot). as he was the lead photographer on this shoot, he asked me to bring my camera and shoot available light while he was shooting with the strobes. we worked along side the video crew on a 3 day shoot. here are a couple images i was able to capture. hope you enjoy.
