peanuts and cracker jacks

i sure miss playing baseball but love photographing it. even though this was a pretty slow game in the field for action, it was still a good game. UVU was down a bit, had a good rally, but didnt pull it off in the 9th.

wrestling

uvu wrestling vs stanford. after high school i always thought i should have been a wrestler since there was nothing i could do to gain weight. i could have been a happy wrestler not having to starve myself trying to drop weight. however after going to an actual wrestling match i was grateful i stuck with baseball.

it was an interesting experience never having been to a wrestling match before and then having to photograph it for work. i actually really enjoyed it and find it exciting trying new things with not much direction. i dont know how unique my wrestling images are but i think it is nice to photograph new things with no bias to what you are "supposed" to be focusing on.

campus in winter

during the holiday break it got pretty slow here at work so one of the days that it snowed i went out and took some photos of campus, including our newest and most uniquely named building on campus, the classroom building (thats really the name of it).

UVU Basketball

Like I had mentioned in an earlier post, I had never shot sports before until I got in this position working at UVU. One thing I have been learning and loving is shooting sports. Each one is very unique in how to shoot it, and getting your timing and rhythm down can take a bit of practice and patience. This was my first attempt at photographing a basketball game and I look forward to many more.
